Quantity Surveyor - Join a Fast-Growing Business and Make an Impact
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing company, is seeking a motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Quantity Take-Offs: Perform detailed take-offs from architectural, structural, and engineering drawings and specifications.
* Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labour, equipment, and overheads.
* Valuations & Variations: Support customers by running projects and completing valuations and variations.
* Documentation: Maintain and update databases, estimate files, and project documentation.
* Bid Preparation: Assist in preparing accurate and complete bid proposals.
* Communication: Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to gather up-to-date pricing information.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the estimating team and other departments to ensure cohesive project estimates.
* Analysis: Review project plans, specifications, and documentation to understand requirements and scope.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
* Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
* Excellent analytical skills with great attention to detail.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Relevant qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
