Role Description:
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple construction and refurbishment projects across various sites. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. You will be responsible for day-to-day supervision, liaising with clients, managing subcontractors and labour, and ensuring that health and safety regulations are strictly followed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage multiple construction sites, ensuring all operations adhere to safety, quality, and programme standards.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
* Provide technical knowledge and guidance to ensure the successful completion of projects.
* Organise resources such as labour, materials, and subcontractors.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
* Monitor labour performance and site productivity, addressing any issues that arise.
* Report daily progress to the company director and attend weekly progress and safety meetings.
* Manage and approve material orders and invoices.
* Conduct audits and site inspections, ensuring standards of workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
* Liaise with contracts managers and surveyors to offer solutions and operational support when necessary.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of construction and refurbishment projects, with experience across all trades.
* CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
* SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Scheme) or SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – Essential.
* First Aid and Asbestos Awareness Certificate (preferred).
* Full UK Driver's Licence is essential (company van provided).
* Knowledge of CDM regulations is required.
* A DBS check will be required upon successful application.
Benefits:
* Competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000.

Work Schedule:
* Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
* Occasional weekend work may be required.
* No remote working, as all work will be site-based within and around the M25 area.
