Our client provides a discreet and reliable home dispensing service through a dedicated Customer Service Team and 38 dispensing centres nationwide.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile development practices and ensuring the effective implementation of the Scrum framework within our teams. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a capable leader, and an advocate for Agile methodologies.

Key components of role include:

Expertise in Agile Methodologies: Well-versed in Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or Lean, and will tailor these practices to fit the needs of our teams.

Facilitation of Change: Influential leader to guide teams in adopting new Agile working methods through direct coaching, leading to improved performance, workflows, better team dynamics, and higher quality outcomes.

Mentorship and Support: Expert in mentoring teams and individuals, helping them overcome challenges and fostering a culture of agility and continuous delivery.

Promotion of Agile Mindset: Beyond teaching the mechanics of Agile, you will inspire and instil an Agile mindset across the broader organization and help teams embrace Agile practices and champion continuous improvement, unlocking potential for innovation and adaptability.

Organizational Transformation: You will be integral to transforming the Fittleworth business but also work closely with Global IT Organization. Serving as a facilitator of change, mentor in Agile principles, and a guide in applying these principles to real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

* Facilitate Scrum Events: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

* Coach Team Members: Educate and support the team in Agile practices and principles.

* Drive Change: drive cultural change by championing an Agile midset across the organisation.

* Leadership: Provide leadership for building Agile and Product Management skills for the enterprise.

* Enhance Approach: Assess current processes and recommend improvements to adopt Agile best practices.

* Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress.

* Foster Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Owner and development team onshore and offshore to manage the product backlog and ensure the team understands the requirements.

* Objectivity: Maintain objectivity in troubleshooting issues by applying Agile principles.

* Promote CI/CD: Encourage the team to find ways to continuously improve their workflow and processes.

Skills/Technical Knowledge:

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps and the software development lifecycle

* Knowledge of Agile metric and reporting methods e.g. burndown, team velocity, backlog etc.

* A deep understanding of how product-based agile teams operate

* Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.

* A degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.

* Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) is highly desirable.

* 5 – 8 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.

* Experience working with development teams and managing projects in an Agile environment.

* Proven record of implementing Agile technique in medium to large organisation.

* Exposure to Microsoft suite of enterprise applications, including Dynamics catalogue of products.

* Hands on experience of Microsoft Azure DevOps
