As the leader of the Investment Specialist Team, you will oversee the team’s operations, manage risk mapping, and ensure accurate external performance reporting. Your role involves guiding the investment process, providing timely updates to advisers, and effectively communicating any changes to our investment solutions.


**Key Role Responsibilities**


  • Oversee the Investment specialist team.
  • Oversee regular updates with the Sales and Investment Teams.
  • Deliver investment process and update presentations to clients, a majority of which will be whole of market IFAs.
  • Build and develop quarterly investment presentations and reports, including those with an ESG focus.
  • Respond to financial adviser queries.
  • Construct technical presentations for use at the internal weekly investment committee.
  • Basic regulatory understanding of MiFiD, SFDR, SDR & Consumer Duty and its relevance to Model Portfolios and Funds.
  • Understand multi asset solutions, the dynamics of portfolio construction and be able to articulate this with understanding of global markets.
  • Support the other Investment Specialists in running data reports for all external reporting tools such as FE Analytics, O&M, Selecta pension, Defaqto, Dynamic Planner, Morningstar.
  • Understanding of risk mapping and risk profiling for investment offerings.



**Skills and Qualifications**


  • Confident presenting to groups in person or virtual format
  • Understanding of equity/bond market dynamics
  • Understanding of economic data and its impact on markets
  • Bloomberg / Factset / Morningstar experience
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Understanding of regulations relating to MiFiD II & Consumer duty
  • Investment Management Certificate (IMC)/ CFA Level I or equivalent
