Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from the enquiry stage through to completion, managing quotations, design, and project delivery, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the in-house designer/estimator on project specifications, ensuring seamless conversion from design to on-site implementation.
  • Manage and support a team of site-based electricians, ensuring high standards of work and quality results.
  • Drive business growth by taking the initiative to bring in larger projects, expanding the department's capabilities.
  • Build strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business through excellent service.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Prepare and present project reports and contract revenue to management and clients.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Compliance, managing the team's H&S paperwork and ensuring all client documentation is completed.
  • Oversee the full sales process, from initial lead to contract start.
  • Manage company materials and assets, ensuring efficient use and reporting.
  • Champion continuous improvement, drafting and promoting procedures to enhance the business's efficiencies.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager, with a proven track record of managing projects from start to finish.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and current regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Experience as a NICEIC QS (Quality Supervisor) is desirable.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Ambitious and motivated to take on bigger challenges and grow the department.
  • Familiarity with Operations Manuals, RAMS, Manual Handling Assessments, Risk Registers, Method Statements, and Site Reports.
  • Experience using Simpro CRM software (or similar), and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
