Job Summary
Connected search are on the lookout for an experienced Programme Manager to join a rapidly growing specialist engineering company. the role will oversee and manage complex projects within a specialist engineering services company, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage large-scale engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Create detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.
- Making sure projects meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Project budgets and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Present regular project updates and reports to senior management.
- Keep strong relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Guide junior project managers and team members.
Key Requirements
- Experience as a Project Manager in the engineering sector.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Show leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field, advanced degree preferred.
