What Were Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Registered healthcare professional (NMC, HCPC, or equivalent recognised body)

Experience:

  • Proven leadership experience in clinical settings, with a strong track record in managing complex healthcare services, preferably within the independent sector
  • Deep understanding of service redesign, clinical pathways, and system reform

Regulatory Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, industry standards, and NHS contract requirements
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance, and compliance with relevant policies

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the clinical services team to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care across the hospital
  • Oversee clinical operations, including staffing, training, and professional development of the clinical team
  • Drive clinical governance, including incident management, audits, and compliance with policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set and align strategic goals with organisational priorities
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, monitor clinical outcomes, and implement solutions to enhance patient care
  • Engage with patients, families, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and drive improvements in service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while maintaining a consistently high standard of care
