Location: Manchester City Centre

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing strategy across these regions.


Position Overview

The CMO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s marketing operations across the UK, Europe, and America. This role will be crucial in driving growth, increasing brand awareness, and ensuring the company’s marketing strategies align with its overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal or financial services, with end-to-end experience in claims management being highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities


Marketing Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that support the company’s growth objectives across the UK, Europe, and America.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, ensuring high performance, creativity, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Analyse and forecast market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Brand Development & Management:

  • Enhance and grow the company’s brand presence across all regions, ensuring consistency of messaging and positioning.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives to establish the company as a market leader in legal and financial services, particularly in claims management.

Digital & Traditional Marketing:

  • Oversee both digital marketing efforts (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) and traditional marketing (events, print, media) to ensure a unified approach.
  • Develop data-driven marketing campaigns, utilizing analytics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and ROI.

Market Expansion & Growth:

  • Work closely with the sales and business development teams to support the expansion into new markets, particularly in Europe and the Americas.
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, including partnerships, sponsorships, and new service offerings.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to align marketing strategies with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, vendors, and media partners to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Regulatory & Compliance:

  • Ensure that all marketing activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory standards, especially within the highly regulated legal and financial services sectors.

Key Requirements


Experience:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior marketing role, ideally within the legal or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in claims management, with a solid understanding of the end-to-end claims process, is highly desirable.
  • Experience overseeing marketing activities across multiple regions, particularly in the UK, Europe, and the Americas.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital and traditional marketing channels, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments in legal and financial services.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
