Are you passionate about supporting mental health recovery? We are seeking dedicated Mental Health Recovery Workers to provide emotional support, advice and guidance within a central support hub in Sheffield. This temporary, ongoing assignment offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people who are struggling to manage their mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support, advice, and guidance through face-to-face, telephone, and video interactions.
- Assess situations to determine risk and the needs of individuals accessing support.
- Actively participate in individual risk assessments and reviews.
- Develop and implement appropriate action plans/safety plans to meet individual needs.
- Encourage individuals to recognise, understand, and manage factors affecting their mental wellbeing and physical health.
- Collaborate with a range of partners and external agencies to meet individual needs and ensure safety and effective service delivery.
If you are:
- Experienced delivering advice and guidance for adults with enduring mental health needs in professional setting
- Have excellent communication skills
- Are confident working with external agencies such as NHS professionals, housing providers, multi-disciplinary agencies
