About the Company:



Staci are recruiting on behalf of HealthLink Europe for a BDM with experience of selling logistics services for medical devices. The successful candidate will act as country lead. As BDM you will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company.


About the Role:

The following are essential requirements:


Responsibilities:

  • To identify appropriate new fulfilment opportunities within the medical devices sector in line with the overall company strategy and individual sales targets.
  • To meet individual Sales targets and make appropriate contributions towards the team’s achievement of annual revenue targets in terms of billed revenue.
  • To identify organisations and key decision makers / influencers within organisations to identify potential business opportunities.
  • To fully understand our clients market place and how creative and timely execution of our services can assist our client’s business objectives.
  • To develop and maintain excellent customer / prospect relations with those identified to gain future opportunities for HealthLink.
  • To maintain a comprehensive database of all prospect organisations and contacts.
  • To prepare detailed proposals and associated paperwork in response to business placed / won as a result of prospecting activities.
  • To effectively coordinate the strategic interface with all key prospective client stakeholders, internal departments and third party service providers & suppliers.
  • To understand supply chains, especially multi-point B2B / B2C and be confident in dealing with supply chain experts within our client base.
  • To be a team player working between internal team members within both HealthLink UK and HealthLink in The Netherlands and on-site with clients who are based all around the UK and potentially abroad.


Qualifications:

Experience in medical devices logistics. An established working knowledge of healthcare industries i.e. pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics. Sales experience with recognisable brands and a proven track record of business development through profitable new business wins. Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics principles. Exceptional client manner, strong and clear communication skills. Excellent communicator and effective presentation style. Commercially aware i.e. able to analyse appropriate financial data and interpret to the commercial benefit of all parties. Ability to multitask, organise, and prioritise work. Excellent MS Office, Salesforce, or other CRM skills. Good standard of IT literacy around all MS office products. An understanding of digital media and its impact on marketing solutions.
