Job Title: Radio Communication Specialist

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum

We are seeking a skilled Radio Communication Specialist to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining radio communication systems within Blue Light vehicles.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and test radio communication equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on radio systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance of radio systems
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities

Requirements:

  • Vehicle technology qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 or ONC/HNC
  • Working knowledge of FCS1362
  • FITAS Accreditation
  • Experience in an automotive technical role, electrical or mechanical discipline
  • Good communication skills
  • Full driving licence
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures
  • Strong understanding of radio communication technologies and systems
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting
