Radio Communication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radio Communication Specialist to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining radio communication systems within Blue Light vehicles.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test radio communication equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on radio systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance of radio systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities
Requirements:
- Vehicle technology qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 or ONC/HNC
- Working knowledge of FCS1362
- FITAS Accreditation
- Experience in an automotive technical role, electrical or mechanical discipline
- Good communication skills
- Full driving licence
- Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures
- Strong understanding of radio communication technologies and systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting
