Job Title: Fire Safety Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Specialist to join our Health and Safety Team at Chelwest. The successful candidate will provide professional advice on fire safety across the organization, working closely with the Lead Fire Safety Officer and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver fire safety training to staff and provide statutory and mandatory guidance on fire safety procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with legislative frameworks.
- Develop and implement fire safety training programs, including annual fire training, fire team training, and ward/departmental drills and evacuation training.
- Provide specialist fire safety advice and devise and deliver statutory and ad-hoc fire safety training.
- Work under the direction of the Lead Fire Safety Officer to develop, deliver, improve, and implement fire safety training and awareness programs.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience in fire safety and risk management.
- Ability to understand and apply legislative frameworks related to fire safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
