Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that meet the needs of students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress.
  • Contribute to the development of the English department and the wider school community.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current educational research and pedagogical approaches in English teaching.

Candidate Profile:
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the English curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:
  • A competitive salary commensurate with experience (£28,000 - £42,500 per annum) on the MPS/UPS Salary Scale: M1 to UPS3.
