Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our client based in Mansfield on a temporary basis.
This is a temporary role for 12 weeks with the possibility of extension. As a full-time, office-based position, you will work standard hours from 8am to 5pm.
- Work closely with the Buying team, Production team, and Store team to ensure smooth operations.
- Update and manage product and supplier information in our inventory system.
- Handle administrative tasks for the purchasing department, including communication with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and product issues.
- Build strong supplier relationships and serve as the primary contact for purchasing department inquiries.
- Create and send Purchase Orders, analyzing historical sales data and trends to forecast future sales and maintain required stock levels.
- Check invoices against Purchase Orders to identify any invoice/pricing errors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.
Salary and Benefits:
The hourly rate for this position is £12.00 per hour.
Please note that this is a temporary assignment, and we require candidates who are available to start immediately and willing to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks.
