Leading Data Engineer with Innovative Solutions

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our central Group Data & Analytics team. This role involves designing and developing innovative data acquisition processes, optimizing the Enterprise Data Platform, and leveraging AI and Machine Learning innovations.
Responsibilities- Design and develop efficient data pipelines for diverse sources, including APIs and streaming data.
- Optimize the Enterprise Data Platform to meet evolving business needs, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain metadata systems to enhance data consumer productivity and conduct data discovery on source systems.
- Research and introduce emerging technologies to benefit the organization, while maintaining CI/CD pipelines and championing DataOps practices.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience with SQL, DBT, and Snowflake, with advanced proficiency in Python for developing applications and data pipelines.
- Experience in hybrid cloud-enabled end-to-end data architecture, with strong knowledge of analytical model design and development.
- Excellent communication skills for discussing business processes with non-technical users, along with ability to multitask and deliver high-quality outputs in a dynamic environment.
- Passion for transforming large, complex data sets into actionable information, with deep understanding of enterprise data architecture principles.
- Competitive salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per annum.
