Role Overview
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Teacher to join our team. As an Early Career Teacher in SEND, you will have the opportunity to deliver personalized lessons that meet the individual needs of your students.
About the School
The school provides a tailored education for students aged 5 to 16 who have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). The school caters primarily to those with moderate learning difficulties but also supports a range of additional needs, such as autism, speech, language, communication challenges, and behavioural issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized lessons that meet the individual needs of students.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants to support students with additional needs.
- Implement the Team Teach behaviour management principles to ensure a structured and supportive environment for all students.
Requirements
- UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE.
- Experience or a passion for working with SEND and SEMH learners.
- Strong feedback from teaching placements, demonstrating readiness for induction.
