About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students with learning difficulties in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Help to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt lesson plans as needed.
  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining a safe and organized classroom.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of our SEN department.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs is essential.
  • Ability to follow EHCPs and other educational plans to support individual learning needs.
  • Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEN.
  • Capacity to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding to support students' diverse learning requirements.
