The Assistant Counsel – Compliance will assist the Legal Department with administration of various legal compliance and regulatory matters throughout the business. Responsibilities include tracking contractual notice and deliverable requirements, development of legal policies and procedures, and performing review of business records to ensure regulatory compliance.
You may be eligible for a $500 net sign-on bonus to be paid out in your first paycheck.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with coordination and administration of legal and regulatory compliance activities
- Analyze the Company's legal agreements to map reporting and notice requirements
- Review Fair Housing Act requests for accommodations/modifications and coordinate responses to field personnel
- Process resident informal and formal housing-related disputes and settlement communications
- Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and at least 2 years of experience in legal or compliance roles. Microsoft Office proficiency and analytical skills are essential for this position.
