Business Development Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team at findapprenticeships.co - Jobboard. As a Business Development Advisor, you will play a key role in driving business growth and development through a range of business-to-business activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, social media, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders to develop links and referral points.
  • Assist in acquiring new customers and selling additional products or services to existing ones.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers, achieving outstanding results for all targets.
  • Research new markets and organisations to identify decision-makers and make contact.
  • Create an effective pipeline of activity, identifying organisations that provide scalability in the market and new development areas.
  • Pitch to customers as required, persisting in sales even in the face of failure.
  • Develop quality presentations, quotes, and negotiate with customers.
  • Follow quality assurance processes and update the CRM with all contacts.
  • Generate quality leads for all targets and pipeline activity.
  • Identify new customers and identify repeat business from existing accounts.
  • Innovate regarding marketing and customer identification, ensuring attention to detail and demonstrating superior time management skills.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a sales or business development environment.
  • Understanding of training, apprenticeships, or education programmes.
  • Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative ideas to drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for work.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of £26,000 - £30,000 basic, plus uncapped quarterly bonus.
  • 25 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays.
  • After 1 year's service, an additional 1 day is given for time off on your birthday, with an extra day accrued each year for the next 4 years to a total of 30 days holiday.
