Job Title: Relationship Manager

We are seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their financial needs are met, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in selecting the most suitable finance options by following our compliant sales process and client care best practices.
  • Handle finance rate negotiations and coordinate all stages of client transactions.
  • Engage in regular communication with clients, our field-based sales team, and dealer sales personnel to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Meet profit and margin targets, as well as other key performance indicators.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular calls, emails, and prompt responses to inbound enquiries.
  • Cultivate existing relationships with clients and dealer sales personnel.
  • Develop new client relationships and expand our customer base.
  • Manage and maintain the sales pipeline to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Provide support to the team while achieving individual objectives.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Minimum A level/BTEC qualifications, with a degree or equivalent being beneficial.
  • A track record of meeting sales quotas in a financial services environment is ideal.
  • Professional qualifications in finance or banking are beneficial.
  • Possession of knowledge in hire purchase, leasing, or B2B lending is ideal.
  • Understanding of financial services regulations and industry policies, including anti-money laundering, data protection, fraud prevention, and fair treatment of customers, is desirable.
