Nurse Development Specialist

Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge as a nurse development specialist. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a preceptorship programme coordinator, responsible for delivering high-quality clinical training to newly qualified nurses and nurse associates.

As a nurse development specialist, you will be working closely with our experienced clinical education team to design and deliver a comprehensive preceptorship programme that meets the needs of our nursing staff. This includes developing and implementing clinical skills and competency development and compliance, as well as facilitating learning through classroom-based face-to-face sessions, combined with practical experience and assessment in clinical areas.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability values and will be able to promote these throughout the programme. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.

We offer a competitive salary of £43,041 - £58,219 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as a range of benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement. About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality clinical training. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
