Development Nurse Specialist

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Development Nurse Specialist to join our team in Bromley. This exciting opportunity will enable the successful candidate to work as a Community Nurse in Complex Physical Health, providing high-quality health care to adults with learning disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of post-registration experience working with people with learning disabilities and possess excellent computer skills, planning and organisational abilities. As a Learning Disability/Mental Health Nurse, you will be expected to manage a caseload of adults, working autonomously with a broad spectrum of physical health issues.
Key responsibilities include managing a caseload, facilitating health education and promotion training, leading on providing robust health liaison to acute and primary care, and developing own professional skills and knowledge through continued professional development.
We offer a range of training and development opportunities both within Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and externally, including regular supervision and membership to our learning disability nursing council across three boroughs. The salary for this role is estimated to be £44,503 - £51,941 per annum, depending on experience.
