Media Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Communications and Media Officer to join our team at Professional Construction Recruitment in the Watford area.
The successful candidate will report to the Communications Manager and be responsible for ensuring that our internal and external communications effectively convey key business objectives and messages.
This role will require close collaboration with our business units and the central Marketing and Communications team to support various campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:- Create engaging and timely content, both written and visual, that reflects our tone of voice and messages.
- Develop creative ideas and editorial content for a range of platforms.
- Write effectively for various audiences and communication channels, including the web and social media.
- Work with the Communications Manager to ensure media campaigns are consistent across all channels and tailored to the target audience.
- Monitor media coverage and provide timely support for crisis communications.
- Develop communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal stakeholders and colleagues.
- Manage documentation and digital platforms to ensure brand information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Utilize social media and website content to enhance corporate messaging in collaboration with the Communications Manager.
- Assist the Communications Manager with gathering video footage, photos, and stories from projects to feature in the company newsletter.
- Travel to sites to provide communications and media support at key events.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop creative ideas and editorial content.
- Experience with social media and website content management.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
