Job Overview

Sureserve Group is seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Licenced Engineer for Fire Systems, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire safety equipment, emergency lighting, and smoke vent systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day installation, planned and reactive maintenance of contracts, ensuring compliance with British and European Standards.
  • Carry out remedial works as required, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Install replacement and additional equipment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Assist in the training of apprentices, sharing your knowledge and experience to develop their skills.
  • Support with servicing and call-outs, providing exceptional customer service and resolving queries promptly.
  • Act in a professional and diligent manner, maintaining high standards of work quality and safety.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in the Fire Engineering sector, with a strong understanding of British and FIRAS Standards.
  • Hold a 17th or 18th Edition Qualification, demonstrating your commitment to industry standards.
  • Experience working with British Standards BS 5839 and BS 5266, showcasing your ability to adapt to evolving regulations.
  • A valid Driving Licence, allowing for efficient travel between sites.
