Head Chef Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at a popular food-led pub with rooms in the Ashbourne area.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of 4 in producing high-quality, fresh food using local seasonal produce
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase the best of local ingredients
  • Train and develop the brigade to ensure excellent service and food quality
  • Manage kitchen finances and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £38-40,000 + tips
  • Opportunity to head up a fresh food pub with a strong focus on local produce

  • Live-in accommodation available for the right candidate

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a similar environment
  • Strong leadership and training skills
  • Ability to manage kitchen finances and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Availability to work a straight shift pattern
