Job Opportunity: Specification Technologist

We are seeking a highly competent and motivated Specification Technologist to join our Technical Team at our Brackley site.

This role offers flexible working arrangements, with standard hours Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside Ingredients and Packaging Specifications Technologist to approve raw material and packaging specifications.
Requirements:
  1. FdSc or higher in Food Science or related field.
  2. Experience of writing food specifications with knowledge of major retailers' online specification systems and critical paths.
  3. Experience of retailer artwork approval systems and in-depth knowledge of the Food Information for Consumers Regulation.
  4. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels.
  5. HND – Desirable.
  6. Food labelling qualification - Desirable.

The estimated salary for this position is around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
