Metrology Expert

As a Senior Metrology Engineer at The Collective Network, you will be responsible for ensuring that design intent is flawlessly translated into production processes. This involves collaborating with Design and Production Engineering teams to review and optimize the entire production process, ensuring specifications are met. You will also provide quality engineering support for assembly teams to enable them to meet their quality objectives.
A key aspect of this role is developing, reviewing, refining, and validating inspection processes to create robust and effective quality assurance procedures. You will update QA documentation, such as checklists, programs, and drawings, for accuracy and relevance to ensure all departments understand their duties.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to conduct Gauge R&R analysis. Experience with CMM and Scanning Arm software (PC-DMIS & Polyworks) is advantageous, as is familiarity with working with materials such as composites, castings, and forgings.
