About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our UK Planning Team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of urban and rural spaces across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on a diverse range of projects, from small-scale developments to large-scale strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance with Colliers' Best Practice standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the UK, including travel for site visits and meetings, to deliver exceptional results.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to contribute to the team's fee income targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and business development efforts.
- Assist junior staff members with their professional development, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organization and time management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Sound knowledge and experience of English and Scottish planning systems, with a deep understanding of the regulatory environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and IT skills, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Relevant qualifications and membership in professional planning or surveying bodies, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
