Job Title: Associate/Senior Associate Planner

We are seeking an experienced Associate/Senior Associate Planner to join our Planning team at RPS Group. This role will provide an opportunity to work on varied projects, primarily in the renewables sector, and contribute to the delivery of office, retail, or residential schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee client projects from commencement to completion, ensuring delivery is achieved to target.
  • Support Planning Directors in successfully delivering their planning caseload.
  • Directly engage in business development initiatives and prepare bid proposals.
  • Assist in public consultations and represent RPS at public events in support of client proposals.
  • Attend and monitor committee and other hearings.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified RTPI chartered town planner.
  • Substantive planning experience in the renewables sector (wind, solar, BESS, etc).
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a corporate environment.
  • Passion for planning, development, and environmental issues.
  • Good working knowledge of planning policy.
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver.
  • Market awareness and understanding of local planning issues.
