About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our team at D R Newitt Recruitment. As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and forecasting demand for our clients' products, ensuring that our supply chain operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast demand for our clients' products
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date demand plans, taking into account seasonal fluctuations and other factors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure that demand plans are aligned with business objectives
  • Identify opportunities to improve demand planning processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights on demand planning activities
Requirements
  • Proven experience in demand planning, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG industry
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and modeling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience
  • A hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
