EGLS is a dynamic and innovative hospitality company that is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences for our guests. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reservations Specialist to join our Central Reservations Team.
About the Role:
- As a Reservations Specialist, you will be responsible for achieving maximum revenue through effective selling of room reservations and ancillary revenue to customers via various channels.
- You will utilize your exceptional customer service and sales skills to identify guest needs, make accurate reservations, and provide an optimal experience for our guests while maximizing revenue potential.
- You will ensure accurate information recording in our systems and provide excellent service delivery as determined by our company standards.
- You will be the guest advocate, ensuring all guests' needs are met from initial booking to follow-up.
Requirements:
- Current reservations experience within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Natural tele sales ability, including closing skills and tone of voice.
- Ability to effectively listen and position hotels to meet guests' needs.
- High level of hotel product and services knowledge.
- Ability to generate revenue by all means available.
- Technical knowledge of hotel booking systems, including Opera.
