Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Night Support Specialist to join our out of hours domiciliary team in Llanishen, Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and care to our service users during evening and overnight shifts.
Responsibilities- Provide Outstanding Support: Assist service users with daily living activities, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Communicate Effectively: Utilize excellent telephone manner and written communication skills to maintain accurate records and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain Records: Accurately document service user interactions, including any concerns or incidents, in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaise with Colleagues: Collaborate with managers, staff members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and address any challenges that may impact the team's performance.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Care Experience: Previous experience working in a care setting, preferably in a domiciliary care environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Sociability: Friendly and approachable demeanor, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
