About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated support specialist to work with children and young people who require additional care and support due to social, emotional and mental health issues/trauma in various areas across South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing individualised support and guidance to individuals on a flexible shift pattern
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals to adapt to changing situations and priorities as needed
Requirements
  • Registered with Social Care Wales
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in childcare and welfare
  • 6 months' experience in residential care work
  • Proven experience working with individuals with additional learning needs
  • Able to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
