About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Head of Business Development and Growth to join our team at GBR Recruitment Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business opportunities and increasing revenue through proactive sales and marketing activities.

You will lead the sales team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your primary goal will be to develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue growth and overall market share.

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase revenue and expand market share.
  • Lead the sales team, inspiring and motivating them to achieve their full potential.
  • Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the sales team.
  • Minimize the use of external marketing agencies, bringing marketing in-house where possible.
  • Ensure effective onsite surveys and scope of works to ensure correct margins.
  • Manage the sales and marketing budget, forecasts, and overall performance metrics.
  • Commercial lead with a strong understanding of client contractual terms.
  • Optimize the use of CRM to its full potential.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior sales and marketing role, ideally at Head of Sales and Marketing or similar level.
  • Experience within the construction industry, including warehousing, racking systems, modular buildings, and similar.
  • Ability to influence effective sales and marketing at all levels.
  • Demonstrable achievements in a combined sales and marketing focused role.
  • Significant experience negotiating commercial contract terms.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute technical solution sales and multi-channel marketing plans.
Salary:

£70,000 - £90,000 per annum
