About the Role

Black Fox Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering consultancy firm, you will be responsible for leading design efforts on a variety of projects, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design efforts for a range of projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely completion.
  • Conduct thorough site surveys and initial assessments to inform design decisions.
  • Develop innovative design solutions in response to client briefs, leveraging your expertise in mechanical design.
  • Perform accurate and precise design calculations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports to support project delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively with design and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client communication, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee construction stage activities to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably within the built environment.
  • Proficiency in design software and calculation tools, with a strong understanding of industry standards.
  • Strong project management and leadership abilities, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
