Main Responsibilities
The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel's overnight operation. This includes maintaining the security of people and property, ensuring the safety and security of guests and their properties, and performing night security rounds.
Talent & Culture Responsibilities
The Night Auditor will assist the Department Management Team in establishing on-going On Job Training Programs within the department to meet Brand and Service Standards. They will also be responsible for inducting new staff into the team, department, and hotel, and ensuring that all staff under their control carry out their duties in accordance with the Brand and Service Standards and Procedures Manuals.
Health & Safety
The Night Auditor will be responsible for notifying their Manager of any reason they may not be capable of performing their tasks safely. They will also participate in workplace consultation on matters pertaining to Workplace Health and Safety, as per the hotel's agreed arrangements.
Security
The Night Auditor will have a full working knowledge of all areas of the hotel and be aware of all fire and emergency procedures. They will also be responsible for patrolling all areas of the hotel on a regular basis and reporting any fire or H & S hazards or maintenance problems.
Room Service
The Night Auditor will ensure that orders are taken correctly, food is prepared safely, and food is served within 30 minutes. They will also be responsible for leaving the kitchen tidy and preparing and delivering early breakfasts on time.
Systems & Procedures
The Night Auditor will log and inform their Manager of any system problems and suggest any improvements that could be made to improve existing systems and procedures. They will also follow policies and procedures outlined in the Accor Brand Standards Manual, Departmental Service Standards / Procedures Manual, and Accor Policy Manuals.
Customer Relations
The Night Auditor will provide efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests. They will lead by example when attending to guest requests and show efficiency in constantly striving to provide Total Customer Satisfaction.
Other
The Night Auditor will take responsibility to ensure all required tasks are completed accurately and within given time frames. They will also participate in scheduled training and development programs provided by the hotel to improve self and department standards and attend departmental meetings as required.
