Senior Care Assistant - Kettering

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at St Anne's Care Home in Kettering. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to our residents.

Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000-£28,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including:

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Assisting the Home Manager, Deputy Manager, and Assistant Manager in the efficient and caring management of the home
  2. Conducting walking handovers, ensuring accountability for all residents at the start and end of shifts
  3. Ensuring staff contribute to the efficient running of the home, creating the right atmosphere, and leading by example
  4. Supporting the training and development of all staff
  5. Implementing and monitoring the in-house training program to a high standard
  6. Personal care and environment responsibilities
  7. Safety and security duties
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 2, working towards NVQ Level 3 or above
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff
  • Effective communication and interaction skills
