We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Stock and Inventory Controller to join our team in Tewkesbury. As a key member of our Material Control team, you will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are maintained effectively and raising stock replenishment orders.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that stock depth is optimised
- Proactively work with customer-facing teams to ensure that product demand is understood and met
- Manage demand exceptions and monitor non-moving and slow-moving stock
- Set up system parameters for optimised replenishment and regularly validate lead times for all suppliers
- Maintain an up-to-date incoming order book and follow up discrepancies with suppliers
- Deliver high availability for the range under management
- Strong deadline management and ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Effective workload prioritisation and ability to deliver under pressure in a timely manner
- Aptitude to improve working practices and effective communication skills
