Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at a prestigious hotel. As a key member of our culinary brigade, you will be responsible for leading a section in the kitchen, creating exquisite dishes, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a section in the kitchen, overseeing food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary concepts.
  • Train and mentor junior chefs to ensure they meet the highest standards of culinary excellence.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor food costs, inventory, and stock levels to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, front-of-house staff, and management to ensure seamless service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
  • NVQ levels 2 & 3 in culinary arts or equivalent qualifications.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and handling procedures.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train junior chefs.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in kitchen management software.
