We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Quality Specialist to join our team at FT Technologies Ltd. Based in Surrey, this role will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of our ultrasonic wind sensors.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other departments. They will be responsible for maintaining factory output during periods of high customer demand, working closely with the Quality team to develop comprehensive Control Plans, and carrying out MSA studies to determine process capability.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum, plus benefits including a non-contributory pension plan, life assurance scheme, private health care plan, and optional hybrid working pattern. The role also includes 24 days holiday per annum, increasing to 25 days after one year's service, plus all bank and public holidays.

About the Role

  • Maintain factory output during periods of high customer demand
  • Work closely with the Quality team to develop comprehensive Control Plans
  • Carry out MSA studies to determine process capability
  • Support Skills Matrix qualification and cross-training of Manufacturing Operatives
  • Champion 5S & Standard Work to maintain and improve product quality and factory productivity
  • Attend relevant training identified to ensure duties are performed effectively
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures
