The Buyer will be responsible for managing all aspects of procurement for projects as allocated. This includes developing strong relationships with key suppliers to foster long-term partnerships, negotiating pricing, logistics, terms and conditions to secure favourable orders, and ensuring that material levels are adequate, preventing shortages or overstock situations both internally and onsite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Pricing and Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, logistics, and terms with suppliers to secure favourable orders.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Contract Management: Oversee supplier contracts and purchase orders to ensure terms are adhered to.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on procurement activities and analyse purchasing trends to identify potential cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
