Main Responsibilities:

As a Service Maintenance Specialist for Industrial Equipment, you will be responsible for carrying out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner. This will involve maintaining documentation of all works carried out in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures.

The main duties of this role include finding, diagnosing, and rectifying faults on customer FLT's as deemed necessary. You will also be required to provide reliable information to customers with regards to maintenance, consultation on repairs, and to provide advice on the use of equipment.

Additional responsibilities will include adhering to all company H&S and Environmental and site policies, procedures, and practices. You will ensure that automated systems and all paperwork, including job sheets, timesheets, and purchase requisitions and parts paperwork, are completed accurately and within the stipulated time period with the relevant order numbers.

You will also be required to liaise with the first line of management for authorisation of parts and process order numbers accordingly. You will work closely with the sales & STR team and refer leads, as well as work to strict planned schedules and deadlines. You will also be responsible for van weight and safe/roadworthy condition before use.

This role requires strong communication skills to liaise with customers and internal colleagues. You will also be required to have sound IT knowledge/skills, such as word, Excel, and email. You will work independently and as part of a team, and be able to work under your own initiative without constant supervision. You will be required to deliver first-class customer service at all times and have a positive and can-do attitude.
