Service Engineer for Equipment Maintenance

To provide efficient service and repair solutions for customer equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Tasks
- Diagnose and rectify faults on customer FLT's, ordering necessary spare parts.
- Provide reliable information to customers regarding maintenance, repairs, and equipment usage.
- Ensure adherence to company H&S and Environmental policies, operating in an environmentally safe workplace.
- Acknowledge and report any failures of company issued equipment and tooling.
- Work closely with the sales and STR team to refer leads.
- Work to strict planned schedules and deadlines.
- Take responsibility for the van weight and safe/roadworthy condition before use.
- Understand and work to KPI's relating to service, admin, and stock.
- Participate in training days, work meetings, and other meetings for information exchange.
Required Competencies
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent associated occupation.
- Electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical competencies.
- Full and valid driving licence.
- Good communication skills for customer and internal colleague interactions.
- Sound IT knowledge and skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under own initiative without constant supervision.
- Deliver first-class customer service at all times.
