About the Role

At Link Housing, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Housing Registration Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Service Centre, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality service to our customers, meeting their needs at the first point of contact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately process applications to our choice-based letting system
  • Assess applicants' housing needs in line with our Lettings Policy and award priority where appropriate
  • Resolve enquiries in a timely and professional manner, using your initiative and decision-making skills
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure our customers' expectations are met
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a good standard of education, combined with experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking role. You will need to demonstrate a knowledge of and commitment to excellent customer care and equal opportunities. An understanding of Housing Management Issues and the work of Housing Associations would be an advantage.

You will also need to have a high degree of competence in the use of IT systems, particularly those used in a service delivery, as well as practical experience of Microsoft Office programmes, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel. A knowledge and understanding of Data Protection and its application in a customer-focused environment is also essential.

You will also receive 35 days' holiday per year (inclusive of public holidays) pro rata, plus an additional 1 day's pro rata holiday per year after 1 year's service, up to a maximum of 40 days per year.
