Freelance Interpreter Required for Public and Private Sector Assignments

We are seeking a skilled interpreter to provide high-quality interpreting services to individuals using public and private sector services.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the interpreting process, and the ability to work in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities will include interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services, checking the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence, and liaising between the service user and service provider.

Requirements include fluency in English and another language, the right to work in the UK, and formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages.

As a self-employed interpreter, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home and choose your own schedule.
