Practice Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Manager to join our team at Crossroads Veterinary Centre in High Wycombe. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving financial performance, enhancing team engagement, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the front-of-house reception team and the admin team
- Prepare the monthly payroll, manage holiday cover, and process overtime
- Manage practice health and safety, facilities, and equipment
- Participate in the annual pay review and staff cost budget process
- Conduct appraisals and performance management for all non-clinical staff
- Collaborate with the Operations team to plan and promote practice events
Crossroads is a three-site small animal first opinion practice located in High Wycombe, Hazlemere, and Watlington. Our modern facilities and fantastic team provide a supportive and welcoming environment. As a training practice, we offer ample support to help new staff integrate and gain experience.
What We're Looking ForWe are seeking someone with a solid background in leadership, operational management, and achieving financial targets. You should have experience in IT, HR, and H&S, with knowledge of engagement drivers, conflict resolution, and complaint handling. Strong financial acumen, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management skills are essential, along with excellent communication, self-motivation, effective time management, and strong interpersonal abilities.
