Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to acutely ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit and Acute Assessment Units. They will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert care and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert care to acutely ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit and Acute Assessment Units.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to patients and their families.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient care.
- Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and healthcare services.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Full registration with the GMC with a valid license to practice.
- FFICM or EDIC & MRCP or equivalent.
- Entry on to the specialist register in ICM & GIM or eligibility within 6 months.
- Possession of / eligibility for Fellowship / Associate Fellowship of Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine.
- Eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Registers.
