Job Description

Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist - Specialist Neuro-Rehabilitation Team

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our Specialist Neuro-Rehabilitation Team on the Stroke and Neurological Rehabilitation Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment and treatment for patients with a variety of speech, language, and swallowing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and treatment for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in service development projects and contribute to the improvement of speech and language therapy services
  • Work closely with senior clinicians to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Recognized qualifications in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
