About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Product to lead the development of our new Wealth Platform, a strategic asset for Sanderson. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering a world-class digital customer portal, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and execute a product vision and strategy for the Wealth Platform, aligning with Sanderson's overall business objectives.
  • Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and requirements based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team, including designers, engineers, and product managers, to deliver the Wealth Platform.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Director of Product and Chief Product Officer, to ensure alignment and buy-in on product decisions.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Embed a customer-centric approach throughout the product development process, ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Platform Development: Oversee the development of the Wealth Platform, ensuring that it meets business case commitments and delivers value to customers.
  • Agile Methodologies: Apply agile methodologies to drive fast and flexible product development, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure that product decisions are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in leading complex product development projects, with a strong understanding of product methodologies and agile development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate product approaches and benefits to stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the UK financial services industry, with a focus on wealth platforms and digital customer experiences.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, computer science, or engineering.
