Financial Reporting Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Accountant to join our team at Marc Daniels. As a key member of our External Reporting team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our statutory financial statements. Your expertise in group consolidation and technical accounting will be essential in preparing consolidated financial statements and technical accounting papers to support complex technical judgements. You will also be responsible for managing internal and external stakeholders, including divisional finance teams and external auditors, to ensure a smooth year-end audit process. Additionally, you will assist with the implementation of new accounting standards and maintain the Group Accounting Manual to ensure compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP. To be successful in this role, you will require a recognized accountancy qualification, recent experience in auditing or preparing financial statements for a large group, and a sound understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
